Recently there were so many incidents around me that have to do with respect. I took a ride from one of my friends whom worked late last night. He didn't sound right and immediately complained to me about our colleague, Dav. Des was very upset with the way he was treated by Dav. A remark:"Can you use your brain or not?" was too disrespectful and unprofessional.
As an officer going to be, such remark is just too insensitive. Besides, that adds on to the bad judgement of our management to allow such A-hole to convert to an officer. It also gives me another reason why I should leave this organisation and additional boost for me to plan for life after ORD. I had enough. The officers nowadays are not committed as those in the past. They do not have the much needed leadership qualities. Dav, a person whom is not well liked by his peers, stingy and arrogant, always late for work, a bully who always gives juniors problems and so on and on, is going to be an officer. Damn it! He is my future LEADER! I can't believe it! Kudos to his interview and ball-carrying skills that got him there. One thing I definitely giving it to him is his technical competency. His knowledge on engineering, technologies and things to do with wires, machines which do not have any emotions, is at a respectful level. However, his man management skills, his bonding with his peers, his attitudes are atrocious! Always putting on a 'mask' to be close with people on his level and showing his true self in front of people under him. I can't stand his acts but I prefer it than his original personality.
Enough said. Having to work under such A-hole in future is really depressing. Time to plan and get out of the organisation led by light-balls (as their balls were carried always) and useless 'leaders'. But I have to say that a handful truly deserved respect. Well, what goes around comes around. If you want respect, you have to give it first.
P.S. Happiness. How do you measure 'happiness'? To some people, having lots of money, owning a posh car, having a big house and not worried about life is happiness. To some, having lots of women, alcohol and power is their happiness. Whatever happiness is to us, it comes with a price.
4 Jan 2010, I start a new life in Idaho. A new and totally different environment from Singapore. An excellent test for independence.

IPPT, Sibei jialat
Panting so badly like I was suffering from a asthma attack. My legs were tired and they could not wait to stop and relax. About 400 meters more to go. The temptation to stop and walk was irresistible. 'No.. I must not stop. I must complete the run. Just once! I just want to take just one time. I'm not going to fail!' I thought to myself. One by one, they overtook me but I am not giving up. 'Alright, past the building. The building.. Here we go!' I sprinted all the remaining 100 meters trying to squeeze out a decent result. My timing, 11 min 46 sec. My worst timing ever since secondary school days. For my category, it is considered a result for silver award. Even though I am not qualified to any award due to my PES status, I always aimed to achieve a result for silver award.
All my results for static stations were getting worse. I believed that ageing the the main contributing factor or maybe, it could be due to my heavier weight. It's over. One of the hurdle being a regular serviceman is cleared. However, I must not let it get worse. Determined to hit the gym and stop skipping cardio exercise. See you next year IPPT!

See you 4pm at the court
Went to shoot some balls in the warm late morning. The shades of the blocks provided some kind of shelter. The basketball court where I used to dominate when I was young was nasty. The floor was dusty due to the new construction of a new neighborhood. The rim was slightly bent and net was neatly taped by I believed, the Filipinos who were playing here. There was a few of them playing on the other side which made the court looked more lively. This court I used to play at, brought back so many invaluable memories. Those youthful days..
I started basketball only when I was fourteen and this highly due to its unpopularity in my primary school. When I was younger, I used to play soccer with my friends during physical education (PE) lessons, after school or after tutorial lessons. I was introduced to soccer by my dad who was a huge Liverpool and Middlesbrough fan. As my family underwent financial crisis when I started out my first year in secondary school, I couldn't join the soccer team as a pair of boots was too expensive for us at that time.
I joined the Boys' Brigade during my first year in Dunman. I like the bonding of the people there and the things they were doing. However, after few months, I was bored of it. There were too many things to prepare. The boots had to be polished, the button, the belt buckle all had to be cleaned. Any of the things not up to the seniors' expectations, you would be reprimanded and punished. Hate that kind of life. When I was into my second semester, my cousin introduced me to basketball. I don't really enjoyed it as it was so hard to get the ball into the hoop. Later, I was influenced by one of my classmates, a school team player whom always invited us to join him for basketball after school. After the death of a member, my school's boy brigade was suspended. In the following year, I joined basketball as my CCA.
I was thinking of just joining my pal for training and to maintain my fitness. That first day when I went to the training, it happened to be a selection day for my school basketball team. Everyone seemed pretty good except me, who can't really make a shot or understand the rule of the game. To everyone's surprise, I was selected. During the competition, we lost all the games but our teacher in charge was very encouraging and treated us lunch after our last game. I scored only two points throughout the competition and was a total let down in the court.
After the competition, I carried on playing basketball and most of the time at that basketball court near my house. My shooting improved and most importantly, my basics. I was more confident in bouncing the basketball. In my third year, I was lucky to make it into the team. That year, we managed to get through to the second round. After competition, I trained harder and played with my older cousin, Robert, who was a great basketball player(Top scorer in ITE competition). Of course, I still went to my 'playground' to have some games with my friends.
During my fourth year, I improved vastly and in my fourth year which was the most memorable one as we managed to finish fourth in the East Zone and qualified to the National Zone.We missed the quarter-finals marginally. That year was the last year for most of my seniors who were the key players of the team. The loss of them left my school team in bad shape but we still continued to train hard. Every Friday after school and Sunday, I would meet up with my pals at 4 to have some games at the court.
Fifth year, I was made the captain of my school. We made it to the second round but not the semis. I was selected into the combined school team trial but was left out due to injury. I still meet up with my friends at the court till my club coach advised me to stop playing in the street as I'll easily get hurt. From then, I seldom went back to this court. I realized I was playing at a different level. Just few years back, I met up with a pal whom I used to play with at the court. He said the court had been deserted and only kids and soccer players were there. It hurts to see the state of the court now but the memories of it is priceless. Missed those days...

Handmade noodles+Kopi+Straits Times
Blogger, please don't play me out again. I blogged this afternoon and there was an error occurred while I was trying to save my masterpiece or even to publish it. Everything ended up in cyber trash can when a message "Whoops, we are trying to resolve an error." I think it is something like that. Can't really remember. Alright blogger... Stop playing me out again. It took me some time and inspiration to write and I love writing. Even though not many people read this blog, but I just enjoyed doing it. Thanks.. and here we go..
I thought about neglecting this blog forever after returning back to Singapore. There's nothing much to post about life in Idaho. I thought being back in Singapore, a place I called home for 27 years, would be enjoyable and great. I thought I can stop complaining about how much I missed Singapore, the food, the entertainment etc. After close to a year back in Singapore, I missed Idaho dearly.
The days of hitting the gym so consistently and conveniently, days of owning a car and everywhere seemed to be just a crank away were sorely missed. I missed the peace, the slow-paced life of countryside Mountain Home. Travels to nearby cities like Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Francisco were unforgettable. Unlike life in Singapore, everyone seemed to be rushing to work and getting to school. Being small, the entertainments are limited and expensive. There's no beautiful scenery anywhere except for buildings and skyscrapers. The people are not as friendly and polite as the Americans. There were so many fights everywhere. Crossing road in Singapore is like swimming across Nile river. You'll never know when you will get hit by reckless and dangerous drivers, both local and foreign. Singapore has changed so much.
When I left for Idaho in January 2010, there wasn't as many road accidents. Places were not as crowded and most importantly, living cost was not as high. When I returned to celebrate my 26th birthday, there was some mild differences. Filipinos could be seen more often on the streets. They are no maids like in the past. They are working as waitresses, cashiers, customer service officers and other jobs that were used to be taken up by teenagers whom were enjoying their holiday break. China Chinese can be seen holding positions like bus captains and I'm not surprised as their existence had already been felt since I left. The growing number of Pinoy's grocery shops explain the number of Filipinos in Singapore.
Singapore, a safe place to live in? Not quite. When I was in Idaho, there was news of gang fights in Singapore which led to the death of a young guy. Recently, there were two cases of gang fights reported leaving one guy needed stitches to attach his nose back and another losing his ear. Few months before that, I was in Taiwan for holidays when two young boys were killed on the road and ever since that, there were more road accidents. What is going wrong? Where are the law and order? What have the police been doing? I thought Mountain Home Police Department would have done a better job. Utterly disappointed. Gangsters are the result of parents neglecting their children since young due to whatever commitments they had. We were encouraged to produce more babies but with the kind of stressful environment we are in, are we ready to take up the responsibilities?
Standard of living is constantly rising. Things are getting more expensive and cars are almost not affordable for the middle class. All thanks to the new regulation that car buyers must pay 50% for the price of the car including COE. What!? COE?? A piece of paper to show that you own a car? Yes, indeed. It is just like the title of the car in states. I would rather spend the kind money to get another piece of paper and be another degree graduate on the street. Other than the rising price of cars, the housing price is even worse. The amount spent to own a small home is enough to get a bungalow in the states!
As life is getting tougher, people are getting more stressful. With the amount of stress on them, they can't produce babies. When they can't produce babies, "foreign talents" come in to help the ageing population. As foreign talents pay are lower, it make jobs more competitive and even more stressful. And the vicious cycle goes on and on. Those who have babies will find life even tougher. They either spend their life savings to get a car to provide transport for their wives and children or they will have to squeeze in the crowded public transport with hands full of babies necessities. Future is bleak over here.
There is so much to plan in Singapore. Sometimes I was left staring into the blank after having lunch at a nearby coffeeshop. The life of having a bowl of handmade noodles followed by a cup of 'Kopi' with the companionship of Straits Times just gets tougher day by day.

On the way home!
Am in San Francisco, waiting for flight to Hong Kong. I couldn't believe that I'm finally going home for good. I'm filled with mixed feelings. It was pretty hurt to leave a place I called home for past two years. Leaving so many joy an laughter behind. However, I have to say I enjoyed the last 6 months at mountain home. For the last 6 months, theres harmony at work. Though still not as one, but things definitely improved. I enjoyed working under my new IC as much as the previous one. So much joy and laughter that make me feels so fortunate and blessed. Really want to thank them. There's misery at work but it just make me a better person. I appreciate the offices who have so much confidence in me. Thanks! At least I finish this adventure in a high note. Life in Idaho ended and life back in singapore begins.. life's tough but I'm going to take it positively and fight strongly!

Last day @ home
Yes! Finally this day arrives. Few more days to depart to my love ones arms. Tonight is the last night I'm staying in caribou, a place I called home for past two years and three months. Many memories here that I will never forget. Everyday as I am counting down, all the memories of the past two years just flash past my mind bits by bits. I know that someday I'll be back again but that will be different. This is the place I learnt to cook and appreciates what my mum had been doing for me since I'm young. It's not easy to maintain a house and neither it is easy to survive alone. In the beginning, I was pretty emotional after leaving my comfort zone. This place taught me some survival skills and make me a more mature man. There were silly things which I've done in the past and those make me a better man. Cleaning up the house was pretty tiring but looking at the numbered days going back home push me harder. I would like to thank this little home for providing me the shelter I need. Tonight is my last night with you, hope there's better owner to take care of you. Alios! Days left: 3

Two more weekends...
It's been such a long time since I updated. Been too lazy and occupied to update. Besides, there's also a lack of inspiration to write. It is coming to an end. My days in Idaho are numbered and I can't wait for that day to return home.
For the past one month, I've been packing my boxes and planning things to buy. Cash flow was running low and I have to save up some for the rainy days. Chelsea and Max are always on my mind even though they are not as close to me as Honey. I bought a bed for Chelsea and some stuffs to groom and feed them. A token of appreciation to them for helping me to accompany Juliana when I was away. Special credits goes to Chelsea! I love you! Thank you!
Other than packing up stuffs to bring home, I'm also busy with clearing my house. Gone are the sofa, TV console, television etc.. Was trying to get rid of my mattress.. seems hard as no one is buying.. Other than this I believe all the cookware can be disposed.
Last two weekends left, I believed I've done enough shopping. The only stuffs left were "orders" from my cousin and friends. Looking forward to receive my first ever headphones from Sennhaiser and some little gifts from Amazon. Gonna get all stuffs done ASAP!
Last but not least, things ain't going smooth at home. Well, Mum is over-worried with Sis again and of course, Sis is doing silly things AGAIN! So.. I am going back to sort things out. Hopefully, there is positive outcome. Anyway, Mum will sleep better with Tempur Pedic I got for her.
Mr Earth! I know you are helping me by rotating a little quicker recently as the strong wind here and earthquakes around the world suggest. But.. Please don't move too quick or lives will be lost unnecessarily. Thanks! God bless!

First week without her
I'm so used to honey around that I just felt so lonely. Her presence makes me the most fortunate person in the world. Her home made dinner are badly missed. Those taste of love. First week was a pretty short working week. But felt something is missing. Definitely is her! Miss you JuJu!

My last time leaving her
I always had a plan of coming back to Idaho in this year November. The main reason is I can save a little more money to prepare for my future with my dearest Juliana. I want to give her a grand wedding and make her the most fortunate lady in the world. She wasn't really happy about it when I told her about my Plan B when Plan A was rejected by her. She wants to stabilize her work before leaving. To take another no pay leave for 2 years is a tall order. Therefore, I came up with Plan B to go alone in November and save up for our marriage. I managed to persuade her to accept it but her parents rejected it.
That night I went to her home late after last meet up with my superior and a close friend. As usual I went to her room but leave the door ajar. Her mom came outside the room and told us to go to their room now as they have something important to discuss. I was shocked. Same goes to Honey. We went to their room and spent about 20 mins in a discussion. After that discussion, I realised I was selfish. I have never think of how Honey might feel again if I'm going to leave for another 2 years. She has been feeling so hurt to have me away for so long even though I'll come back every few months for vacation. I have never put myself in her shoes. She needs me so do my family. My family hasn't been so united since my absence. Everytime I came back, there is a sense of harmony in there. My absence took a big part in my family. To leave in another 6 months will definitely do no good to them.
That night, I apologised to Honey and told her that I will not be going back in November. I promised her, this is my last time leaving her and I hold her in my arms before leaving States for the last time from her.

Year 2012 Resolution, The End of World
2012, speculated to be the end of world according to the Myans calendar. I guess I got their tribe spell wrongly. Will the world comes to an end? I'm not sure but I believe there could be a chance though as global warming has caused some climate change over here in Idaho. It supposed to be snowing here at this time but it is not this year! Alarmingly, the weather in New York was fine during the New Year. Last year, there was a blizzard.
Even if the world is crushing down, I still want to set my 2012 resolution. Title of my resolution is Change
Well, I had been a pretty hardcore party goer since 2010. Everytime I came back home to Singapore, I'll party. It is so harmful to both my health and financial heath. Besides, it also affects my bonding with my loved ones. I must STOP all this! Here goes my 2012 resolution and I must achieve them! Simple just 5.
1) Stop my partying habits and be a loving husband, brother and son.
Partying is harmful as I mentioned above. I reflect that there are more disadvantage to me. At 26, I believed I had enough partying and it is time to settle down in life and move up another level.
2) Keep my body fit and healthy
This has always exist in my resolutions for past 2 years. I must keep myself good-looking by working out. Having a good looking body will give myself confidence and I definitely want to maintain or maybe achieve that goal. Besides, I want to keep my weight between 80 to 85 kg. That's a goal. Diet is important and working out will be necessary too!
3) Increase my financial health
Year 2011, a year I've spent my most money! In March/April, I went to Taipei with my buddies before going back to Singapore for my home trip. In August, I went New York, Toronto and Washington D.C. That trip cost me a bomb but the experience was awesome! Just recently, I went to LA, LV and SFO with my Honey! The trip was really enjoyable and love those moments! Money well-spent on those holidays. Now, I want to learn how to make my money work for me. Time to look at investing my money. Keeping them in the bank, is a grave mistake!
4) Bargain Brands
My blogshop opened with my family friend. Business been doing well in the initial stage but now it is kind of slowing down. I think that's the reason why alot of people failed at online business. It's not easy as we are easily forgotten in the cyberspace. Besides, there are too many people doing the same business and they can get those goods easily. Main objective for me now is to clear as many stocks as possible and start buying some more new stocks!
5) My life plans
This year, I'll be turning 27. No longer young. Time to settle down and plan my life route. At 27, I have no degree in Engineering. I'm earning barely more than $2000. I'm planning to get married but not yet applied for a house. My savings have yet to hit $40k. All these are alarming and I must sort them one by one. I must plan NOW! Will update in the next blog on how I want my life to be.

Merry Vacations
It's been too long since I last blogged. Obviously, I explained myself in the last post laziness. After that last post, I left for deployment in Luke for an important exercise. When I'm back from the deployment after two weeks, I'm all prepared for my vacation with honey!
First stop, San Francisco. We only spent 3 short days over there. Tried In&Out Burger, Clam Chowder in bread bowl and lots of delicious delicacies like Shiok! Restaurant, serving Singapore Cuisine. Miss those local food! Pier 39 was amazing and I'm glad that Honey enjoyed every moment. Me too! Enjoy her companion.
Second stop, Los Angeles. The main location for our holidays. We had lots of fun there even though I got a speeding ticket in Oakland while on our way to LA. There are so many amusement parks over there as we went to Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags, Shopping in Desert Hill Premium Outlet. Other than those amusement theme parks, we did not forget to visit some nature's parks such as SeaWorld and Safari Park in San Diego. Breathtaking Zoo and Seaworld they had and admire the way Americans respect their military hero. We simply enjoy LA. The accommodation was way WAY better than San Francisco's. Love the time there except for doing laundry where the place is so dark and eerie. Very uncomfortable! Very!
Third stop, Las Vegas. Sin city. It took us 8 long hours to reach there due to the devastating jam on the way. Well, everything was so smooth and lucky in Las Vegas. We got a free upgrade, a free entrance to the club and found parking lots near the elevator. Fantastic! Only the complimentary buffet from the hotel left a black mark in our tour. Overall, we enjoyed the tour. Most significantly, we had a good time together. Very fruitful time even though I'm broke. Can't wait for allowance to come in soon.

Lazy..
Man.. I've been too lazy to write recently.. Nothing much interesting and amusing in past 2 weeks except for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday sales.
This year wasn't as exciting as last year where I spent my Thanksgiving in Utah and we woke up early in the morning to get the cheapest stuffs in shopping districts. This year was pretty simple. Just went to Walmart nearby and to Boise. It's really tiring and I did not buy anything except for a pair of shoes and some bodywash from Bath and Body works for Honey. The sales were tempting but there's nothing much I need except for my Honey to here.
Can't wait for honeymoon in December.. It's gonna be fun.
Anyway.. Chelsea delivered to 6 adorable puppies.. They were so adorable and come in different colors and own trademarks. Love them! Most importantly, my little princess, Chelsea is fine and healthy. I missed her.. I know she might forget about me and might even barked at me.. I don't mind. I'll still give her a hug! Many thanks to Honey for taking care of her well.. Love you all!

Halloween Party Night..
A day where everyone dressed up like monsters, zombies, vampires and superheros! The last halloween I'm enjoying here (hopefully, if I return in May). The last few days to party before my close friend, Rajesh, depart this boring land.
Last year, I dressed up as "Jason" from Friday the 13. It was pretty simple as I just wore a mask. This year I decided to make it more fun..Put up make up (no theme this time..) and dressed like a death lord.. This year there are lesser people joining unlike last year when there was a big group of us. Even though there were only a few of us, we still enjoyed and had so much fun!
That night ended early... Thanks to the stupid state law.. The clubs closed at 2am. The crowds were left partying on the streets.. including us. Argh!.. It could have been more fun had we were in Vegas..=P

Grow up..
Enough! I had enough of him doing all those childish nonsense! He speaks and behaves like a ignorant dumb kid! How and why these people were employed to be leaders? They were paid highly to just ask questions and provide numbers to higher management up there. Engineers supposed to provide solutions to technical problems. However, in this instance, the technicians are the people that provide solutions and do the repair work themselves!! OH PLEASE! What is this F***ING HR department thinking? WHY THOSE A**HOLES GET PAID SO HIGHLY? Such a disgrace! For the incident that happened this week, I understand why Singapore needs foreign talents. The reason is simple. THERE IS SIMPLY NO TALENTED PEOPLE IN THERE! HOW TO SURVIVE WHEN CHILDISH PEOPLE LIKE THEM ARE THE LEADERS!?!?
Hey.. YOU PEOPLE!
Wake up and grow up!
Use more brain cells than your damn mouth!
Shut it.. I HAD ENOUGH!
You guys must be ashamed of yourselves!
I ain't proud to work under YOU!

Hollywood, CA.. Belated Birthday celebration
Simply fantastic and fun! That's all I can describe about the trip to LA during Columbus holiday.. I was treated with so many drinks during that party night in Hollywood. I was drunk but wasn't as bad as in the past but the hangover was worst I ever had.. Santa Monica Pier was beautiful.. The search for the "Hollywood" sign was adventurous.. The party night was short and sweet.. Really enjoyed the birthday party by my pals! Thanks! I enjoyed myself.
Six Flags amusement park is the biggest one I ever been. The rides were horrible! I would love to take those thrilling rides but chickened out last minute. Damn.. I should have taken the rides... They're aint that scary after all.. The next I visit Six Flags.. I'm going to take most of the rides there!
This holiday was rather a short one with us spending only 3 days there. On the third day, we went shopping at Desert Hill Premium Outlet. I ended up not buying alot of stuffs as most of the things I've already had.
Oh man!.. Few more weeks... some of my pals will be gone.. few more months.. my sweetheart will be here! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
Upcoming events in Oct/Nov: Halloween Party @ Boise
Farewell to Rajesh, Kok and etc..

Upcoming events.. October
Man! I've been really lazy to update my blog recently.. Prefer to watch movie, surf the net and checking out facebook.. Finally decided to update my blog having had a good day at work. Work wise.. there's nothing much to update even though there were some misunderstandings happened recently which I think was normal. Life away from work was pretty dull and bored.. as usual.
The upcoming events in the coming month, October is quite interesting and exciting for me. It's my birthday month and this is the first time I celebrate my birthday without my family and most significantly, my Honey.. I anticipate it to be really quiet and bored on the actual day of my birthday which falls on a Wednesday. BUT.. the belated celebration is what I'm looking forward to..
In the next two weeks, I'll be going to LA. The main reason for this trip is to visit the thrilling Six Flags theme park and celebrate my birthday! Okay.. people who knew me will surely think I'll chicken out. Yes! I will definitely chicken out if I don't feel comfortable. Some rides are just too crazy! I will not risk my life for those things! Besides Six Flags, we're going to visit Desert Hill outlets and of course, enjoy the nightlife of LA. Fingers crossed as New York was too disappointing!
After that week in LA, I'll have to prepare for the Halloween party. Gonna dressed up well this time round! Likely I'll dress up as a vampire this year.. Last year's party was really fun and I really enjoyed it! Maybe because some people I hate to see wasn't around last year.. This year I KNOW he's gonna be there with some poor fellas.. Just need to find other place to party instead of China Blue.. Or hopefully, he can't make it!
Well.. That's all for October.. More will come in December and I hate to mention November!

Legendary Washington D.C.
Where was I? Ha.. been alittle lazy to post recently. Anyway.. I've come to the last stop of my August trip. Almost broke.. but Jason was really nice enough to pay for the car rental fees. THANKS MAN! Rajesh and I just had to pay for the parking and top up the petrol.
Washington D.C., the capital of United States, is filled with history. The Lincoln memorial, Iwo Jima memorial, the White House, Vietnam war memorial etc. A place to learn american history.. I really enjoyed walking through the memorials being a history student when I was in secondary school. Besides, the Smithsonian Museum was amazing. It is so huge that no one can complete in a day. We managed to cover the aerospace museum and went on board a flight simulator. I came to realise Rajesh can never be a pilot as he will get his gunner killed! We were hung upside down in the simulator for more than a minute and thanks to the 'fantastic' pilot, Rajesh Kumar.. I enjoyed it though.
That's the end of my August trip for 2011. A year full of entertainments and holidays! Having th time of my life.. Two more months.. more friends will be leaving me.. Argh! Can't wait for my turn to return to my paradise!

Second stop.. Toronto, CA
It's 7.25am and we just reached the check-in counter. We were so late and our luggage had problem checking in. Besides being late for check-in, our luggage was overweight. There's no more time left, so we just paid for the charges that cost us a BOMB! Being reasonable, my pals didn't want me to pay for the charges as I only had a few things in there. However, being part of the team, I fork out a small amount to ease alittle for the both of them.
8.40am, the plane took off from New York to Toronto. We were dead tired. I was lacking of sleep since day one. I could have take some rest when they were watching the broadway show but I got lost and spent an hour looking for our hotel. The flight was a short one hour and the weather in Toronto was gloomy. Sucks.. the feeling wasn't right. We were jaded and was in need of a good sleep. Two hours later, we checked in to our hotel and took a short nap. Bearly recovered.
On that evening, we went to visit the CN tower and the Chinatown in Toronto. The food was fantastic though a little too expensive. We did not went up to the CN tower as the edge walk was closed. The second day we visited the Niagara Falls! It was awesome! The scenery was breath taking. I'm in love with Toronto.. There were so many Asians around..
Toronto is not as crowded as New York.. We stayed somewhere near the downtown and it wasn't as stressful as Wall Street. It's pretty relaxing and we enjoyed it. We failed to land a good party place but had some drinks at a bar along the street. Cool.. Time is never enough when you're at vacation. ARgh... few more days to work.. Washington D.C... here we come!

First stop, New York
6 August, I embarked on a journey to New York. An expensive tour to the east of the states known to be beautiful and fun. My first stop of the tour, New York.
The first thing that came across people mind when you mention New York are Statue of Liberty, Twin Towers (used to be), State of empire, the Wall street and Times Square. Yeah indeed! Those are the places in the itinerary my friend, Jason planned. To have a beautiful view around New York is pretty costly. Basically, we went to two of the most famous buildings in New York which are the Rockefeller Center and The Empire State Building. I enjoyed the view from the top but still think they're not worth the price!
Partying in New York supposed to be part of our plan. The clubs seemed to be so fun as shown in the movies! I damn you, Hollywood!! IT'S ALL LIES! There isn't any fantastic clubs around and those we went rejected us. We were caught in the rain and rejected! Damn! That's the first day of our tour and we're already felt dejected on a Saturday night!
The tour around the Statue of Liberty was an eye-opener. I really enjoy my time there though it's just a short one. I have never in my life thought I'll be so close to this gorgeous statue. A symbol of freedom.. Cool! Took some fun pictures and there we go to Wall street. I always dream about working in Wall Street someday as a stock broker but I think I'll change my mind. That place seemed so stressful and complicated! Everywhere is buildings and buildings.. wish I will never work there! I still prefer Shenton way. Though it's alittle similar to Wall Street but at least there's a Singapore river to relax my mind!
New York a city filled with funny and crazy people. The pizzas are delicious and Time Square is awesome! Like those night scenes at Time Square.. But definitely, I would not want to go back again. Not my cup of tea..
