Martin Luther King Jr Day

It was an important and special day for the Afro-Americans in the United States. A day to remember the person who fight for their rights in America. A day to remember the man who had the courage to stand out and speak for his fellowmen, Martin Luther King Jr who was later assassinated.

I have no idea who is he till last year when I first celebrated this public holiday. His courage won my admiration and aroused my curiosity about him. He is simply a hero to the Afro-Americans as he exchanged his life for the freedom of the blacks. No longer they have to give their seats to the whites. Gone were the days they were called slaves.
